NOIR CITY
Noir City is an annual film festival held by the Film Noir Foundation in multiple cities along the west coast. It is a public display of the organization’s mission to preserve physical media and educate cinephiles on the history of censorship in film. As the noir style begins to fade from public memory, this redesign seeks to revitalize the Noir City festival through a more contemporary experience.
The story and definition of film noir is as dramatic and murky as the genre itself. This identity system cuts through that uncertainty by seamlessly connecting with new audiences while hosting a specialty experience for existing noir fans.
